Shandi Trout RDN

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Nutrition

Shandi believes food is one of the most powerful tools we have for health. She brings over 12 years as a chef combined with clinical nutrition experience across hospitals, long-term care, public health, and private practice. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in clinical nutrition with an emphasis on functional and integrative health at Notre Dame of Maryland University.

She believes that small changes can lead to big impacts. She listens, digs into the root causes, and tailors every recommendation to each client's unique needs and goals. All foods can fit, and her work centers on finding the balance that works for you. She grounds her recommendations in current science while keeping the practical demands of daily life front and center. She combines evidence-based protocols with a warm, nonjudgmental approach, focusing on whole-person factors like sleep, stress, and routine to identify root causes rather than chasing symptoms.

Shandi earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition/Dietetics from Arizona State University and completed her dietetic internship. After relocating to Colorado from Arizona in 2024, she has been enjoying the cooler temperatures and exploring Colorado on weekends with her husband and two teenage daughters. She loves to explore and travel when possible; in between, you'll find her in the kitchen trying new foods, reading, or crocheting.
