Your gastrointestinal (GI) system is the core of your health. Everything that enters your body will eventually make its journey through 25 feet of intestines. So many important functions happen from the time you chew food in your mouth to the time it comes out as a bowel movement. This leaves a lot of space for problems to develop along the way.

GI health directly affects your nutritional status. If nutrients are not getting absorbed well, this will lead to a multitude of problems including anemia, fatigue, and vitamin or mineral deficiencies. Chronic inflammation is often the result of ongoing GI conditions.
